Swedish School of Textile SS19

Swedish School of Textile SS19

Swedish School of Textile is always an exciting show! VOGUE regularly publishes a small piece on exactly the schools fashion show each year. This year they went to London Fashion Week as well! Way to go!

This year at Stockholm Fashion Week SS19 the school showed 24 graduating students’ collections. A mini fashion week in itself!

The school’s SS19 show celebrated diversity (models of different shapes and sizes) as well as amazing creativity.

We loved Stina Randestad‘s knits with flare, imitating fire, grass and fish scales.

Linda Aasaru showed Inverted Archaeology experimenting with prints and plaster in an interesting way.

Linn Sohl‘s U/NITED was super surreal with eye goggles, oversized jackets and childlike playfulness.

Dick International brought a lot of laughs, while tromp d’oeil was something we all have seen, was a nice addition. Knitted dresses from patches, and Wardrobe showed, well, different bodies on top of bodies and some hangers too. Enjoy!
